On June 5, more than 40,000 people came together as a living testament to the power of individuals to impact the world. Their impact was tremendous. The event raised more than $4.5 million to fund breast cancer programs for women in need throughout the National Capital Area and abroad.
The 2010 Susan G. Komen Global Race for the Cure® was so successful and so inspiring that we’re doing it again next year! The 2011 Komen Global Race for the Cure will take place on Saturday, June 4, 2011.

Whether you run, walk or support us from the sidelines, don’t miss the chance to change the world you live in. Together, we promise to end breast cancer forever.
You can run or walk the 5K, or even Sleep In for the Cure®. There is also a special Race and activities for kids 12 and under.
