Chest Bump Against Breast Cancer at ShamrockFest 2010 11:30 AM
The first annual Chest Bump Against Cancer will take place at the 2010 Shamrock Fest at RFK Stadium on March 13, 2010. Registration opens at 11:30 a.m. with the Chest Bump occurring at 12:45pm. The Chest Bump will benefit the Komen Global Race and it will be videotaped and registered with the Guiness Book of World Records. For more information, visit Shamrockfest.com.

Team Captain Kick-Off Reception in Vienna, VA 5:00 PM
Are you a team captain? Or, are you considering forming a team for this year’s Komen Global Race? Then join us for one of these kick-off events where you’ll be able to register your team (if you haven't already), and learn about all of the exciting things we have in store for teams this year. The receptions will be hosted by Global Race Staff and some outstanding veteran team captains who will be available to answer your questions and share some of their best tips and ideas. You’ll gain all the knowledge and confidence you need to recruit team members and fundraise successfully. We'll also offer a step-by-step demonstration of how to set up a team Web page. This is something you won’t want to miss! The schedule for the evening will be as follows:
Social: 5:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Program: 5:30p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Q&A: 6:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

National Marathon Health & Fitness Expo 11:00 AM
Look for the Komen Global Race at the National Marathon’s Pre-Race Expo. We’ll be there to register participants and teams as well as answer any of your questions. The Expo is at the D.C. Armory, located right next to RFK Stadium and the Start and Finish lines. Parking is available in lots 7 & 8 at RFK Stadium. Visitors are encouraged to take the Metro to the Stadium-Armory station on the Orange and Blue line.
