Team Rewards
The top fundraising team in each of the following divisions will receive a special trophy and recognition on Race Day:
International/Embassy Hill Teams US Government Agency Corporate (includes legal and sponsor teams) Academic Armed Forces Nonprofit (includes religious groups and health care) Family/Friends Local Government Komen Affiliate Komen Grantee
Top Teams for the 2012 Susan G. Komen Global Race for the Cure® will be listed starting in the spring of 2012.
Power Teams Become a Power Team and you can meet, eat, relax and enjoy your own reserved space in the Power Team VIP Area before and after the Race.
Your team can become a Power Team by meeting the following requirements:
- Have 10 or more registered team members. This can include Kids for the Cure® and Sleep In for the Cure® participants.
- Raise at least $10,000* in donations. See below for details on how this total is calculated.
- Meet these requirements by Monday, May 21. The minimum amount of 10 registrations and $10,000 in donations must be processed or posted online by this date. If mailing in registration forms or donation forms, please be sure to postmark them no later than Thursday, May 17.
Once you have met the above requirements, you will be contacted by Komen Global Race Staff to confirm the details of your Power Team VIP reservation.
*How fundraising totals are calculated: For the purposes of rewards and recognition, team fundraising totals (the total found on your Team Page) will include donations made to the team (via the Team Donation Form or made through the team's Web page) plus donations made to each of the individual team members (via the Individual Participant Donation Form or the team member's personal Web page). Donations made to a team are not and cannot be split or transferred among individual team members' fundraising totals and thus cannot be applied towards individual fundraising rewards.
