You can start your own team to participate in the Race! It’s easy and will make Race day even more fun!
So, who’s on your team? Your family. Your friends or coworkers. Your neighbors. Susan G. Komen Global Race for the Cure™ teams come in every size from 2 to 200 people, from every walk of life and from every corner of the globe. The best teams. The best outfits. The best day.
A Komen Global Race for the Cure team is…
a mother and a daughter.
a family of four or five or more.
a group from work.
a trio of friends from college.
a class of kids from your child’s elementary school.
a neighbor whose life has also been touched by breast cancer.
A Komen Global Race team is anyone who wants to enjoy Race day with you!
A Komen Global Race team is also the best way to experience the Race. Teams get to choose a name. Teams can dress up in crazy outfits or get matching team t-shirts. Teams take amazing photos all along the route. Teams get the most out of the Race – together.
It’s a powerful sight when Race Teams from every corner of the globe and every neighborhood in the Metro area gather before the start near the Washington Monument. It inspires you to believe that together we can do anything.
